The Definition of 'the roaring 20s' in the dictionary is :-

'regarded as a boisterous era of 
prosperity, fast cars, jazz,speakeasies, and wild 

The music of this era reflects this.

I hold a vast catalogue of original 78s for this era, with the music in the audio player only being a small selection of the various styles of this time.

The machines I use are called 'picnic gramophones' as they were portable and yes you've guessed it people took them on picnics.

The definition of portable in the 1920's however is a million miles away from the current definition.
